Getting There

Day 1 attendees arrange their own international flights to San Jose, Costa Rica (airport code SJO). Once they clear immigration and customs, the ground transfer crew will transfer them to the nearby Doubletree Cariari in San Jose for the night.  

Day 2Students will be picked up around 6:30 am  for transfer back to the airport for the short flight to the lodge (8:00am departure. 35 minute flight). We greet the plane in our town of Puerto Jimenez. Short ground transfer provided to the lodge.  

Day 3, 4, 5, 6  are onsite participating in Medical Studies class and any fishing or eco tour activities during free time with Crocodile Bay staff. Meals and soft drinks are all included with accommodations at the lodge. Beer/wine/liquor, eco tours, or spa services to be paid onsite at check out. If any are interested in fishing, there are boats for charter.  24’ Whalers charter for $650 for a half day catching roosterfish and snapper in the smooth water gulf! 

Day 7 check out of the lodge & board the short morning flight back to San Jose/SJO. You can meet an international departure from SJO this day anytime after 11 am.

Crocodile Bay Resort is offering our conference a group rate discount during our conference dates and before and after the conference subject to availability. Please book early to assure a room at these very special rates.

Individual pricing based on double room occupancy:
