DAVID NELSON, MD
David is a practicing anesthesiologist in Austin, Texas. He has studied Spanish for many years to better communicate with his patients in an accurate and timely manner. He recognized the need for a CME eligible conference teaching Medical Spanish to other healthcare professionals. He is the Medical Director of Medical Studies Abroad.
David is an avid hunter and fisherman.
Cindy runs the everyday operations of Medical Studies Abroad. She assures that each contact with us is responded to with accurate and timely information. She is also responsible for obtaining accreditation from the various professional organizations and brags about how great our conferences are at every chance. She loves books and her Great Dane, Klaus.
Kiki is an experienced Finance professional. She keeps the books and makes sure all of the numbers add up at the end of the day. She is originally from Chicago, but moved to Austin many years ago and enjoys the lifestyle. She also enjoys spending free time with her two children and her rescue dog, Bailey.

Professor of Spanish as a Second Language, Universidad de Ciencia y Technologica (ULACIT)
13 years of experience teaching Spanish as a second language including joint programs with the University of Wisconsin, Eau Claire and Northern Central College of Illinois.
Previous experience with education of medical personnel and development of medical Spanish curriculum.
Marianita spends her free time with her young daughter and husband.
