Dr. David Nelson is a practicing anesthesiologist in Austin, Texas.  He has many patients who are only able to communicate in Spanish.  He has studied the Spanish language for several years, but found it difficult to add in class time after a busy day at the hospital.  He began Medical Studies Abroad with the idea that doctors, nurses and nurse anesthetists could obtain CME and CEU credits while learning Spanish designed for the healthcare professional.  Everyone benefits from improved communication and now it's possible while enjoying exciting destination locations.
