Medical Spanish Conference Details

- Hilton Spa Garden
This continuing medical education conference is intended for medical professionals who desire to learn Spanish. The emphasis is on medical terminology and on communicating more effectively with patients. The courses in Costa Rica will take place in an immersion setting with ample opportunities to practice with native Spanish speakers. Physicians, Nurses, Nurse Practioners, CRNA's and Physician Assistants will have the opportunity to earn 20 hours of Continuing Medical Education Credits while in an inviting and adventurous location. Classes are kept small in order to facilitate plenty of student/teacher interaction. Additionally, students are separated according to Spanish ability level so that all students are challenged at the proper level. Please visit the Course Description Tab to view the day to day schedule and the accreditation information.

What our students said about the November 2010 conference:
* I truely enjoyed every minute in class! Thank you for aiding in my ability to communicate with my patients!
* The quickest and most fun way to gain confidence and skill in communicating with Spainsh speaking patients. One of the most enjoyable CME ever attended. Dr. J. M.
* I loved the class and learned so much! S. M., CRNA
*This conference was a great way to set aside time to review my Spanish skills. If I had been at home, with all the distractions of life, I would not have been able to get this much review done in almost a month! Dr. R. B.
*This was one of the best conferences that I have ever attended.. I'm so glad to have had the opportunity to attend and learn with local instructors rather than American instruction. Plus it allowed us to experience a culturally diverse area many of us had never traveled to before. Hope to go again soon and improve what you have already taught me!! Maybe I can move up to the advanced class one day! S. D., CRNA
